If you’re reading this, you’re lucky, considering the fact that GoDaddy was hacked today, leaving tens of thousands of websites (if not more) unavailable.
In light of today’s events with GoDaddy, we’ll be looking to move our hosting more local, so blogging from me may be light for the next couple of days while I try to assess and address the situation.
I host all my clients at GoDaddy, and they were ALL down. I’ve left hosts before for security reasons. I don’t know that there’s a perfectly safe one out there, but I’ll be looking too.
I’m strongly considering hosting through Cruiskeen Consulting, which is Steve Hanson’s company. It’s local, and the hosting for my alternate site has been solid.
That explains why I couldn’t get in to comment. I’m on godaddy. better check my site.
Thought you chickened out and blocked me. Should have had more faith.
Cat.
Cat, why in the world would I block you?
