Considering how scarce Republican U.S. Senate candidate Tommy Thompson has been on the campaign trail, he must still be exhausted after the Republican primary.

Perhaps no one has summed up Tommy Thompson’s listless and apathetic campaign better that right-wing squawker Charlie Sykes, who on September 23 said, “Well, Tommy Thompson has been running a brilliant campaign, if it was 1998. But it’s not 1998 anymore.”
