Wisconsin Republicans deleted hundreds of thousands of redistricting documents

Wait….Republicans in Wisconsin tried to hinder transparency?!?!? What a shock!

As Democrats were seeking access to Republican redistricting files last year, hundreds of thousands of computer files were deleted from state computers used by GOP aides, according to documents filed Thursday in federal court in Milwaukee.

Democratic plaintiffs alleged in the court filing that six days after an agreement for Republicans to hand over files used to draw new legislative districts, someone logged in as a Republican aide deleted hundreds of thousands of redistricting files from one of the computers. The following week, redistricting documents were handed over to Democrats.

  1. SEND THEM TO JAIL for contempt if court. And throw the maps out as the court case was decided on less-than-full information.

And the Dems better push hard for independent redistricting, and hang this corruption on the GOP

  2. WHO was the Republican *cough*staffer*cough* who signed on to the computer and deleted thousands of emails? I want that person in a court of law, under oath, answering questions. Like yesterday.
