Here’s hoping Sen. Kathleen Vinehout is okay….
Wisconsin state Senator Kathleen Vinehout was involved in a car wreck Sunday morning en route to Milwaukee, a member of her staff told The Progressive.
The likely gubernatorial candidate’s condition was unclear at time of this story’s publication. The staffer said that Vinehout appeared to have injured her arm, and that they were headed to a nearby hospital.
Folks, it’d be a huge understatement to say this weather is awful, so avoid driving if at all possible.
Vinehout is being treated at a hospital for injuries sustained in the crash and will be canceling all events today and tomorrow. She’s heading home to recuperate for a couple of days.
So sorry to hear this. Any news about her driver and assistant who we also met yesterday? Hoping any injuries are very, very minor.
NQ,
I’m told they’re all okay. Everyone going home for a couple of days.
I’m hearing Sen. Vinehout is still in a Kenosha hospital with a broken arm. Not sure if it’s true or not, but that’s what I’ve heard.
Latest news that I’ve seen.

Kathleen heading to Eau Claire with multiple fractures to her right arm, for likely orthopedic surgery. Otherwise she is described as doing quite well.
