While addressing attendees of the Conservative Political Action Conference on Thursday, Gov. Scott Walker was asked by an audience member to explain how he’d deal with the threat of the ISIS if he were elected president. Walker started his response by noting he receives FBI threat briefings from his adjutant general before pivoting and asserting that his experience in Wisconsin taking on working families who protested at our State Capitol in the wake of Act 10 equipped him to deal with the international terrorist group ISIS.
Here’s Gov. Walker’s remarks.
Asked about his comparison of peaceful protesters in Wisconsin to radical terrorists who’ve beheaded victims on tape, Gov. Walker said he wasn’t making a direct comparison between the two.
“You all will misconstrue things the way you see fit,” he said, “but I think it’s pretty clear, that’s the closest thing I have in terms of handling a difficult situation, not that there’s any parallel between the two.”
What’s funny about Scott Walker’s denial of a parallel between peaceful protesters and ISIS is that the only person who drew a parallel between the two is Scott Walker.
What a moron.
This is just disgraceful, and I hope the media rips into him over this. I still think the biggest thing we can go after Walker on is his budget shortfall.
I believe Walker is confused; he is the one attacking unions and slashing wages of all workers killing their economic life for his “Isis Corporate Fiends.”
Let’s rename him “Jihadi Scotty.”
