For those of you who may still be undecided about which of the million Democratic gubernatorial candidates to support this article from the Wisconsin Gazette might be worth a read.
“Flynn had a scorched-earth policy: Go after the victim any way you can. He’d accuse them of lying even when he had an admission of guilt from the priest. He’d try to suggest that another member of the victim’s family did it.”
Though I’m undecided about which Democratic candidate I plan on supporting, I knew Flynn would never have my support, but I’d like to hear from any of you who may have been supporting Flynn as to whether this changes your opinion.
I thought this Gazette story was a journalistic disgrace. If they’re going to reference documents that show that Flynn covered up sex crimes against children, then link to those documents for Chrissakes. Is it too much to expect a reporter to quote from those documents, to pick excerpts from them and write a story presenting his case? Covering up sex crimes against children is as flat out heinous as it gets. Those making such accusations should be required by common decency to have some pretty strong evidence to support them.
I don’t mean to distract from this story but since Flynn is a candidate for Gov, I ask for your consideration on another candidate for Gov. Thanks.
