And no, I am not suggesting this just because a number of prominent Republicans in Washington are self-quarantined…but as a show of confidence that we have safe and effective testing for the disease. The president should sit at his desk in the Oval Office, roll up his sleeve, have the Surgeon General draw his blood using a CDC test kit, and whisk it away to the CDC for testing!
And then whatever the timeline is…2 or 3 or 4 days…announce the results on national TV, again from the Oval Office. That would be super presidential.
