During his pity party in Tulsa OK last night, President Donald Trump essentially repeated his belief that less testing is a good thing…because it turns up fewer cases. But this time he added something criminal to his bluster.
Trump said the United States had now tested 25 million people, far more than other countries.
“When you do testing to that extent, you’re gonna find more people you’re gonna find more cases. So I said to my people slow the testing down, please,” Trump told a campaign rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where many supporters were not wearing face masks.

In a nation still reeling from the effects of COVID-19 and a number of states starting to see significant upticks in positive cases, for the president to say that he had testing slowed down is criminal…simply criminal. We will never know how many of the 122,000 Americans who have died so far might have been saved if we had early effective testing.
If the president issued such orders…he should be charged for murder and attempted murder.
And when asked about the presidents comments, well, ha ha ha ha ha!
A White House official said Trump was joking about his call for a slowdown in testing.
“He was obviously kidding. We are leading the world in testing and have conducted 25 million + in testing,” the official said.
We’ll see how funny it is when he’s wearing a jumpsuit to match his complexion…or he’s on a ventilator after bringing something unexpected home from Tulsa.
