C.H.A.N.G.E.

As the 2008 presidential election slowly slips away from the Republican ticket of John McCain and Sarah Palin, their campaign has become increasingly negative. Not surprisingly, the Republican base has responded in kind:

The 7th grade teacher, Greg Howard, asked his students what “change” stood for in relation to the Obama campaign and proceeded to write out the acronym “come help a nigger get elected.”

Now what’s amazing to me is the fact that this teacher wasn’t fired for his remarks to his class; he was simply moved to teach adult education. Kinda makes me wonder what constitutes an offense that merits termination in the Jackson County school system.
