Tom Nardelli lands yet another cushy state job thanks to Scott Walker

Curiously, I haven’t read much from the conservative blogs about this nugget:

Nardelli currently receives about $3,000 a month in a city pension, $337 a month in a county pension and an undisclosed sum from an Army pension. He could get about $5,700 a year in a state pension, if he keeps his state job for four years.

  1. I don’t really know anything about the guy, so no comment there. But I found the points you chose to highlight rather curious. What does any of that have to do with whether or not he’s a good candidate for the job? Did Walker have anything to do with any of that?

    And I have to say:

He could get about $5,700 a year in a state pension, if he keeps his state job for four years.

I don’t know that I’ve ever seen an article where something like that was reported. Is my memory faulty? I won’t hold my breath that it will be posted for all appointed positions in the state, but I fail to see how it’s appropriate in this case, but not in every other.
