Madison Police Officers union endorses Susan Happ for Attorney General

This is good news for Democratic Attorney General candidate Susan Happ.

The Madison Professional Police Officers Association (MPPOA), an organization representing nearly 400 law enforcement professionals in the city of Madison, has announced its endorsement of Susan Happ for Attorney General. The organization represents front line public safety employees in Madison, including police officers, detectives, investigators and sergeants.

The MPPOA joins a growing list of public safety officials from every corner of the state to support Susan Happ for Attorney General.

“After careful consideration of both candidates, the MPPOA believes that Susan Happ’s record of bi-partisan leadership makes her uniquely suited for the position of Wisconsin’s top law enforcement officer. As the District Attorney of Jefferson County, she has won support across party lines, and has placed public safety over politics in fighting for victims of crime. We believe Susan Happ is the right candidate to face Wisconsin’s growing challenges, including the epidemic of heroin in our communities and the victimization of children by internet predators.”
