Wisconsin GOP Refuse To Take Their Stand Against Common Sense Gun Bills?

We’ve noted that Madison GOP leaders have staunchly opposed the electorate of Wisconsin by refusing to take up bills for universal background checks and red flag laws. They continue to lie stating that they are in violation of the 2nd Amendment to the United States Constitution.

As we have also noted previously, Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers called a special session to take up these two gun safety bills. Both Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald and Assembly Speaker Robin Vos said they would open the special sessions and then immediately gavel them closed without taking up the legislation.

Well, the special session was supposed to convene at 2 PM this afternoon. At 2:23 PM, Channel 27 (ABC affiliate WKOW) in Madison reported that the GOP Senators were a no show.

They aren’t even willing to stand up to their own stated convictions?
