  1. I am not sure if the comparison to Nazi Germany is a good one. After all…nobody is advocating for illegal immigrants to be rounded up and murdered. There are something in this world evil enough for that comparison…this is not one of them.

    1. I think the comparison has more to do with the fact that law enforcement is being given carte blanch to stop whomever they want for whatever reason they want.

  2. You mean like how Obama is racial profiling by singling out certain groups to get out the vote? You can now see, if you didn’t before, that this President looks upon people as groups or part of a disenfranchised class, rather than individuals with individual thoughts and interests.

I guess since I don’t qualify as one of these: “young people, African-Americans, Latinos, and women” that he doesn’t want my vote. Good. Because he won’t get it.

    1. Oh…and since you went there…who do you think John McCain was trying to attract with Sarah Palin? The “intellectuals”??

    2. So wait, you’re saying it’s bad that President Obama has targeted groups that traditionally don’t vote as much as other groups?

I see it as a good thing that the president is working to get those folks who traditionally haven’t voted as much to let their voices be heard. After all, they have a stake in things too.

      1. Zach, I think it’s wrong he was singling out racial and demographic groups. Don’t tell me that they typically vote less than others, because women vote more than men. Mr. Inclusive is playing the race card and by listing them off shows what groups he cares about and doesn’t care about. Why should all of one group or another be expected to vote Democrat? Whatever happened to individuals.

Anon, I am against identity politics no matter who does it and I was critical of McCain. But did he implore all women were expected to vote for him because of it?

  3. If the good people of Arizona (70-78%) were Nazi’s I beleive they would be against people because of skin color and heritage, not because they are breaking our laws and rioting for the right to do so.
I also beleive the Nazi’s would be taking over the largest industries so that the state would have control of them.
They would also focus on converting the youth and special interest groups to the cause of state control.
They would also be trying to demonize the rich (jews and otherwise) to create resentment of the masses, so they would turn to the state for “hope” of lifting up the little people.
They would also reach out to the most violent nations for alliance and shun traditional weak, untheatening democratic nations.
Maybe this designation belongs to the other side of the isle.

    1. “If the good people of Arizona (70-78%) were Nazi’s I beleive they would be against people because of skin color and heritage, not because they are breaking our laws and rioting for the right to do so.” So AZ is only going to get rid of the ciminal element of the illegal population.

It is nice to know my 65 year old mother who gained citizenship when she was two would have to carry her papers if she were to go to AZ.

Also, is this law in violation of the fifth ammendment?

And from what I have read, you only have to provide your name if you are stopped while walking. If you are driving, then you must provide your driver’s license.

  4. “You mean like how Obama is racial profiling by singling out certain groups to get out the vote?…young people, African-Americans, Latinos, and women.”

Young and women are not a race. From what I remember, these groups of the population are the ones who vote the least. As compared to the old men.
