Will Guam capsize?

Listen as Rep. Hank Johnson, a Democrat from Georgia, expresses his concern about the island of Guam capsizing due to an influx of additional military personnel and their families to the island:

In a statement issued after video of his concerns went viral in the internet, Rep. Johnson explained he was simply voicing his concerns, “albeit with a dry sense of humor,” regarding the influx of new military personnel and their families to the island. If Rep. Johnson was indeed kidding, he really honestly needs to work on his delivery, because he certainly didn’t seem to be kidding in the slightest, and his explanation seems more like spin than anything.

  1. He was really struggling just to ask how wide Guam was at its widest and narrowest points. I give the Admiral credit for not calling him an idiot.

    1. That’s what I thought too – this idea that he was being sarcastic or something…he really seemed to struggle for words, every thought appeared to require a great deal of effort to put to voice.

I say this knowing almost nothing about the guy, but how old is he? Has he always talked like that? Because it really seemed like early Alzheimer’s.

      1. And they will probably re-elect him.

Don’t forget the seat he has was formerly held by Cynthia McKinney.
