VIDEO: Rep. Paul Ryan cracks a joke at the expense of a 71 year-old man being pushed to ground and handcuffed by police

“I hope he took his blood pressure medication today,” said Republican Rep. Paul Ryan as a 71 year-old man as the man was being pushed to the ground and handcuffed by police officers during Ryan’s recent “pay to play” town hall meeting. The man’s crime? He dared to speak his mind in opposition to Rep. Ryan’s shameful attacks on Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security.

Here’s the video:

The fact that Paul Ryan seems to think it’s funny to crack jokes about 71 year-olds who are being arrested for daring to speak out against him at a town hall he charged admission to is simply disgusting, and Paul Ryan should be ashamed of himself.

What a role model Ryan is for his children. “See kids, it’s okay to make jokes about senior citizens as they’re being pushed to the ground and arrested by the police, because it’s funny to make fun of old people!”

Jeff has more on what a scumbag Paul Ryan is.

  1. Keep hitting the archives on this clown. The D.C. Bubble World is going to find out really fast that this is not the “nice, reasonable” guy they make him out to be.

  2. I cannot stand the guy..for real..BUT this headline is misleading.. don’t think he knew the guy was being pushed to the ground at all..Let us be better than the other side and not be deceptive..like them! You should watch the video of Romney and the dying guy..Now THAT is truly disturbing.

  3. This is how our President responds to someone who disagrees. Listen carefully as he calms the crowd and PROTECTS the rights of the person who questions him. I know that the man interrupted Ryan’s speech…but, I do think there are better ways to handle dissent than handcuffs.
Now…who do we want to be a role model for our children? A man who consistently demands respect FOR others despite those who continually perpetuate chaos in order to get their way…or do we want our highest office to use someone’s age to make fun of those who disagree? We do have a choice.

  4. PAUL RYAN NEEDS TO MAKE A PUBLIC APOLOGY A.S.A.P!! I’M INFURIATED — APPALED. THIS GUY HAS NOT HAD 24 HOURS PASS AS VP-E AND SHOWS HIS aSS AS HE DID – NOT TO BE TOLERATED. MITT BEST RE-THINK HIS “VP CHOICE”… CERTAINLY DO NOT WANT A PERSON LIKE RYAN TO COST HIM THIS ELECTION.

  5. If I remember right this was a town hall meeting, not a debate, and Paul Ryan is naturally rude and egotistical. He also would not meet with his constituents unless they paid $15 to see him. What are we paying him for, that is his job! He talks about entitlements and he is the biggest abuser. He has done nothing but obstruct for 3 years, costing us jobs, and he talks about poor people being lazy, and wants to take away food stamps, when some of them are working two or more jobs and still can’t make ends meet. He says he wants everybody to elevate themselves, and at the same time wants to end pell grants, so how do the poor get to go to college without some help, to get these jobs. He is so two-faced and an embarrassement to our state.

  6. Good Job with this video it was clearly rude of Paul Ryan to say,” I hope he took his blood pressure medication” sounds like he is a bully and or a spoiled rich brat.
