Badgers CRUSH Huskers

To say this is a huge win would be an understatement…

Russell Wilson gave Nebraska a harsh welcome to the Big Ten, throwing for two touchdowns and running for another in No. 7 Wisconsin’s 48-17 rout of the eighth-ranked Cornhuskers on Saturday night.

Montee Ball ran for 151 yards and four touchdowns for the Badgers (5-0, 1-0 Big Ten). But Wilson was the main attraction for a prime-time television audience as Wisconsin overcame a slow start to solidify its status as the class of the conference.

Could we be looking at a possible national championship contender in our own Badgers?

  1. Badgers could be the real deal.

But hey Zach, can I vent on Crew fans for a sec? WTF were they doing booing when Weeks got HBP to load the bases in the 4th with the game still tied? At least that made it easy to sort the bandwagon jumping non-baseball fans from the real ones!

Vent concluded. Great game. Go Brewers (coming from a Cubs fan)!

PS – Steven if you’re out there, your Phightins better continue making mince meat of those dirty, rotten, no good, puppy-kicking, grandma-punching s.o.b. Cards.

    1. I’m not entirely sure why they were booing, but I can’t help but think it was because they were displeased that the D’Backs hit Weeks with a pitch.

  2. The Badgers doing this was impressive. I expected more of a game between Nebraska and Wisconsin, not saying that I don’t have any faith in them but I was expecting 18 to 30 or something like that. So this happening was like a “Aw SHIT.” moment.

It’s like how I had said the results were going to be 23 to 38 in the Packer Game … so close, yet so far…

    1. Yeah, I expected the Badgers to win, but I didn’t expect a blowout. At the risk of ruining things, I could see this team contending for the national championship.

  3. JCG, I loved attending the Brewers game last night, and I assure you my Phightins’ will handle the Cards so I can attend Brewers/Phillies in Milwaukee.
