Will the Last One Out of Iraq, Please Turn Out the Lights? Thanks!

Video of the last American soldiers leaving Iraq as seen from a Predator drone.  Thank you for keeping this promise, President Obama!

A U.S. Air Force MQ-1 Predator provides over-watch as the last convoys cross the border out of Iraq at 11:30 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time). U.S. Air Forces Central Command provided more than 14 Air Force and U.S. Navy aircraft to ensure safe passage for more than 125 vehicles filled with Soldiers and Airmen as they make the historic trek across the border. This transition is not only an end to the war, but also the beginning of a new phase in the U.S.’s relationship with Iraq.

  1. I think what you meant to say was that Obama abided by Bush’s timeline for withdrawl. He inherited this agreement, but gave no credit to those who set this withdrawl in motion.

    1. No, I said exactly what I meant. Don’t presume…

What Obama has not done was to hold those accountable (Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld) who embarked on this foolish and deadly escapade in the first place.
