Help Nikiya Harris GOTV tomorrow

From my email inbox…

With the primary election next week it is time to pull out all the stops and hit the pavement hard.  County Supervisor Nikiya Harris is just days away from clinching the 6 District State Senate seat, and she needs our help to push her across the finish line.

I’m going to be out knocking on doors for Nikiya this Sunday, Aug 12th and I’m asking you to join me.  Nikiya has knocked on countless doors, and has worked tirelessly for months talking to voters.  Now we need to make sure that the people of the 6th Senate District get out and vote for Nikiya!  Can you help get out the vote by signing up for a shift this Sunday?

Click here to RSVP to Nikiya’s campaign if you’ll join us this Sunday.

 Nikiya Harris

Nikiya is an active and dedicated leader for our community.  As her former colleague on the Milwaukee County Board, I can tell you first hand how hard she fights for our progressive values, and I know that she will bring that same dedication and values to the state legislature.  It is likely that the person who wins this race will hold this position for some time to come.  So, it is important that we elect someone to this seat who is a leader for Milwaukee.

Please me join this Sunday, August 12th, for one of the following canvassing shifts:

Canvassing Shift 1: 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Canvassing Shift 2: 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm

Canvassing Shift 3: 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm

We will meet at 608 E. Clarke Street in Riverwest.  If you are able to help this Sunday please RSVP to this e-mail, or contact Nikiya’s volunteer coordinator Lisa Bahr at l.m.bahr@gmail.com. You can also sign up for a GOTV shift online by using this link.  I hope you will be able to make it this Sunday.

Let’s make this happen!

As I’ve written before, Nikiya Harris is a great progressive candidate, and she’d certainly represent a clear change from the Coggs-Taylor status quo in Milwaukee.
