Republican voter ID/increased corporate campaign influence/increased political donations bill passes Assembly on voice vote

Earlier today the Wisconsin State Assembly passed AB 225, a terrible piece of legislation that not only makes it harder for citizens to vote but also makes it easier for corporations to exert even more influence over our state’s elections. While I fully expected the Republican-controlled Assembly to ram through AB 225, what I didn’t expect is that Democrats in the Assembly would allow AB 225 to pass on a voice vote.

That’s straight up disappointing, not to mention shameful.
