In an extremely close vote and an apparently hotly divided Common Council…today was the first day of the new council following the April 7 general election…Alderman Cavalier “Chevy” Johnson was elected Common Council president by a vote of 8 – 7.
Good luck Chevy…I know you will be effective president…but I don’t envy your position.
