Wisconsin’s Two Confederate Traitors…

The US House of Representatives voted today to remove statues and busts of Confederates and Confederate sympathizers from the Capitol. The vote against the removal included 113 Republicans…including Wisconsin Representatives Glenn Grothman and Tom Tiffany. Really, 113 Republicans? And two from Wisconsin, a state that played a significant role in winning the Civil War?

I suggest that these two traitors visit the Veterans’ Museum and State Historical Society Museum in Madison on their next visit to the state and see the taxidermied bald eagle, Old Abe. And the American flag carried into battle by Wisconsin residents with bullet holes put there by Confederate bullets.

Frickin’ traitors to the state, the nation, and the US Constitution which they swore to uphold and defend. Vote the sumbitches out in November.

More than 91,000 Wisconsin soldiers fought against the Confederacy during the U.S. Civil War at a time when the state population was about 775,000. More than 12,000 Wisconsinites died during the years long battle.
