one of the main complaints of the dem congress is that they have not created enough jobs. While there is some truth to that, it is time for people to actually dig down and realize why. The The American Clean Energy and Security Act, has been a contentious issue this year with the right wing demonizing anyone who supported it(Hello Mike Castle). In Wisconsin, anti-jobs congressmen ryan, petri, and sensenbrenner, voted against it.
Not that we needed more evidence, but a new report came out and we see that the Wisconsin republican delegation has done more damage then originally thought.
Report: U.S. Senate’s Inaction on Climate/Energy Bill Costing U.S. 1.9 Million Jobs, Including 600,000 in 10 States With Worst Unemployment Topping 10 Percent
WASHINGTON, Sept. 14 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — China and other leading nations have gained more than $11 billion in job-creating clean-energy investments ? with the U.S. losing an estimated $208 million every day ? since the U.S. Senate abandoned comprehensive clean energy legislation in late July, according to a new analysis from Small Business Majority, Main Street Alliance, American Businesses for Clean Energy and We Can Lead.
Other key findings:
# The lost jobs forfeited by the U.S. Senate include major categories of employment that could have put Americans to work immediately with little or no additional training or education ? since a large portion of clean energy jobs require widely-held skills that millions of Americans already have.
# The Senate’s failure to take action will have even wider negative economic consequences on American families, including Americans missing out on an increase to annual household income of up to $1,175 per year, and a boost to America’s gross domestic product (GDP) of up to $111 billion ? with these huge economic benefits flowing across all 50 states. Two MILLION American jobs wouldl ook pretty good right now! Maybe the “tea partiers” will join me in voting out the congressmen who have been working against American jobs.
“Report” is not quite the word I’d go with there. It’s from a site called “Earthtimes.com” and is actually clearly labeled PRESS RELEASE.
Forget grain of salt, this should be required to be taken with the article.

Locke very creative.
It doesnt have to come from earth times, to know that while we are pretending there is no such thing as climate change here, China and other countries are moving ahead to meet the demands of the time. It doesnt take a genius to figure out that wind/solar etc… is where the market will be going here, and where it is going elsewhere in the US. Our climate change deniers are costing us not only in jobs, but in the technological race also!
