NY Mayor Bloomberg: there could be rioting in the streets if more jobs aren’t created

During his weekly radio show on WOR on Friday, New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg warned of Cairo-style rioting in the streets if lawmakers didn’t get serious about job creation.

“We have a lot of kids graduating college, can’t find jobs,” Bloomberg said on his weekly WOR radio show.

“That’s what happened in Cairo. That’s what happened in Madrid. You don’t want those kinds of riots here.”

I think it’s safe to say no reasonable person wants to see riots in the streets of American cities because of a lack of jobs, but what’s it going to take for Republicans to put aside their animus towards President Obama and do what’s right for the country, instead of what they think is best for their own political interests?

  1. If you want to think partisan politics will stop being partisan for the good of the people, you’re thinking of the wrong country.

I won’t even get into the people who have been able to hold a steady job for years because they’re in a catch 22 situation.
