Terrence Wall may not pay state income taxes, but he’s certainly got income!

In the entry I wrote yesterday about Terrence Wall not having paid Wisconsin state income taxes in four of the past five years, I noted I would be posting a copy of the financial disclosure paperwork Wall filed with the U.S. Senate when he declared himself a candidate, so here it is:

  1. Looks like he’s involved in some non-profits. I haven’t read all the pages yet, I will later, it will be interesting to see how this plays out. I’ve got a listening session to go to now. I’m hoping Jackson County has more class than Waukesha.

  2. This is not nearly sufficient information for people to evaluate the claims and counter claims being launched in this campaign. When someone has the 1040’s, the 1065’s the K-1’s, please post. I’m sure it will be interesting.

    But, I don’t expect it will be anything illegal or unethical. You might dislike the guy because he has money, but then you have to have the same dislike for Herb Kohl. You might dislike the guy because he accepts every allowed benefit of the tax code as written. But then you’d have to dislike Feingold for having failed to modify the tax code as written, while he had the chance.
