The field of challengers looking to unseat Congresswoman Gwen Moore just got a little more crowded, as Paul Morel, a Democrat, and Kenneth Lipinski, a Republican, have joined the race. Lipinski joins an ever-expanding Republican field that includes Dan Sebring and Jennifer London, while Morel is looking to beat Rep. Moore in the Democratic primary. I’ll have more on the candidacy of Paul Morel in the very near future, but the race in the 4th Congressional district is surely shaping up to be interesting, to say the least.

Indeed…I hadn’t expected a Democratic challenger to Rep. Moore, given her popularity, but perhaps there’s more of an anti-incumbent feeling within both parties.
