Scott won’t sacrifice your job to score political points…unless you work for the govt.

From Jill Bader, the campaign flack for Scott Walker’s gubernatorial campaign, comes the Walker’s latest attempt to attack Tom Barrett as a job killer, despite proof to the contrary:

Tomorrow President Obama is coming to Wisconsin to talk about ‘jobs.’- right on the heels of the news that 300 jobs at Wisconsin based Bucyrus International are being threatened by HIS OWN radical environmental policies which have the full support of Tom Barrett and Jim Doyle.

Scott won’t sacrifice your job to score political points, and he won’t allow government to pick individual winners while leaving the rest of us to face high taxes and regulations that force companies to move jobs out of Wisconsin.

Jill Bader may say Scott Walker won’t sacrifice your job to score political points, but what she really meant to say is that Scott Walker won’t sacrifice your job to score political points unless you happen to be a government employee, as thousands of former employees of Milwaukee County found out. Scott Walker was eager and willing to sacrifice the jobs of all of the security guards at courthouses and other buildings, as well as housekeeping staff, food service workers, many parks workers, and staff in Milwaukee County’s Behavioral Health Division, which has been plagued with problems and lawsuits due to negligence and staffing issues, all of whom were dumped so Scott Walker could score political points with his conservative base.

The fact is, the only job Scott Walker really cares about is the job he wants as Wisconsin’s next governor.
