Ron Johnson met with “some groups” in Washington D.C.

Perhaps he should have clarified that “some groups” means lobbyists, Washington D.C. insiders, and career politicians:

“I’d never been to Washington D.C…. until this election. I’ve gone three times just to familiarize myself and meet with some groups. But that’s it,” Johnson said.

on June 23 Johnson went to Washington to meet with lobbyists for Big Oil, Big Pharma, and health insurance companies, and on July 29 Johnson visited Washington for a fundraiser with “career politicians” like Sen. Mitch McConnell (ironic given Johnson’s negative comments about “career politicians), and on September 29 and 30 Johnson once again traveled to Washington D.C. for three big-dollar fundraisers , with one hosted by Arizona Senator Jon Kyl – yet another “career politician.”

Yet again Ron Johnson has shown he’s incapable of giving an honest answer when faced with a legitimate question. Is this is the kind of elusiveness we can expect from Johnson if he’s elected to the United States Senate?
