Yeah, I’m sure the $128,859 Scott Walker received from road builders has absolutely nothing to do with Walker’s support for diverting money allocated to high speed rail to building roads:
Scores of road builders opened their wallets for the Republican candidate in the recent election.
More than 150 employees of highway construction firms wrote checks to Walker, compared with only about two dozen for his opponent, Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett.
More important, road builders spent nine times more money helping Walker than they did Barrett.
by comparison, sources within the road building industry contributed only $13,900 to Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett, Walker’s opponent in the gubernatorial race, between January 2009 and October 2010.
You really have to stop calling it high speed rail, when a VW on 94 will out run that train……its not HS rail.
