Another day, another story about the kind of person Lee Holloway really is…
On Thursday, a security guard employed by the county exec was arrested and booked into the county jail on two counts of endangering safety with a dangerous weapon, disorderly conduct and bail-jumping. A charging conference is scheduled Friday with county prosecutors.
Eric L. Turner, 39, is accused of showing up with a firearm at the apartment of one of Holloway’s tenants on Jan. 5 and demanding to be let in.
The tenant, Thelma Murphy, said Turner claimed he was looking for someone who used to live in the apartment complex at 2061 W. Atkinson Ave. The security guard then ransacked Murphy’s apartment as he walked from room to room, Murphy said. On his way out the door, Murphy said, the security man told her, “You need to leave this building.”
Murphy, who has been feuding with Holloway, said she believes Turner was trying to send her a message.
“Mr. Holloway got this man to scare me out of the building,” Murphy alleged.
As I’ve written before, Lee Holloway can’t be voted out of office fast enough….
