No doubt the next state budget will be scary because despite the lies we’ve heard about how Scott Walker and Republicans like Scott Fitzgerald balanced Wisconsin’s budget deficit with the last biennial budget, they actually left Wisconsin with a budget deficit of $3 billion for this fiscal year and next fiscal year, if Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) are used, as Scott Walker the gubernatorial candidate promised they would be.
