It’s all about accountability

Earlier today Phil Scarr from Blogging Blue opined that the leadership of the Democratic Party of Wisconsin (DPW) should face consequences if the recall effort against Republican Gov. Scott Walker fails.

Here’s what Phil wrote:

Should the battle to recall Governor Scott Walker fail, we should expect Mike Tate & his entire leadership team to resign from the Democratic Party of Wisconsin.

This is the battle of our lives. They cannot continue to lead us should we suffer this bitter defeat. Their shame will be too great for us to bear.

Before Phil took down the post in the face of strong criticism of the language he used to describe the consequences Tate and Zielinski should face, I commented that if the recall fails, I simply expect accountability from the leadership of the DPW. If the recall of Gov. Walker is unsuccessful, then we all (including the party leadership) need to start evaluating what went wrong and what needs to be done to “right the ship,” even if that means a change in leadership.

  1. What was this tweeting stuff about Walker defending a boy rapist? When I read that all I could do is SMH. It’s not even true…why would they tweet that? (Dem party)
