Back in April, I noted the fact that Cudahy Alderman Justin Moralez was facing a June court date for Operating While Intoxicated (OWI), Operating w/ PAC >=0.08, <0.15 (1st), Deviation from Designated Lane, Failure to Obey Traffic Officer/Signal, Fail to Signal Turn, and Inattentive Driving. Shortly after posting my original entry, Alderman Moralez emailed me to clarify the circumstances surrounding his pending legal matters, stating in an email that he was taking the matter for a jury trial "because there is more than enough evidence to exonerate me." According to the Wisconsin Circuit Court Access Program (CCAP), Moralez has in fact settled his case, but he was not exonerated as he insisted in April that he would be. While all other charges against Moralez have been dismissed, Moralez was found guilty of OWI (1st) and ordered to pay an $821 forfeiture, in addition to seeing his driver’s license suspended for 6 months.

Thanks.
Anyone here willing to characterize Justin’s record in public office?
I think it’s too early to characterize his record in public office.
