Now that former Republican State Rep. Mark Honadel has officially kicked his now-former constituents to the curb in order to line his pockets working for mining interests, there’s going to be a special election to fill the seat he held in the 21st Assembly District.
While the Republican primary is shaking up to be an absolutely free-for-all, with 5 candidates vying to replace Honadel, on the Democratic side stands just a single candidate.
That candidate’s name is Elizabeth Coppola, and she’s a 2011 graduate of the Emerge Wisconsin program, as well as serving as a member of the Social Development Commission’s Board of Commissioners. If you’d like to learn more about Elizabeth Coppola’s campaign, you can visit her campaign Facebook page.
Its good Democrats have a candidate. The district looks more Republican even though its in Milwaukee County, but a special election comes down to turnout.
Just what we need a carpetbagger who just moves into the district so she can follow Chris “the thief” Larson!
NowhereMan, here’s an interesting fact: Scott Walker was a carpetbagger during his first run for the Assembly.
As for your reference to Chris Larson as a thief, I’m guessing you’re not a Christian.
