  1. Steve, thanks.

    I’m going to do something.

    OT,

From page 79 of “Federal Budget and Fiscal Policy (1789 – 1958),”

“Rutherford B. Hayes was the first President to urge strongly that the federal budget include grants for public school education. The basis of all prosperity, he observed in his inaugural address, ‘lies in the improvement of the intellectual and moral condition of the people. Universal suffrage should rest upon universal education. To this end, liberal and permanent provision should be made for the support of free schools by the State governments, and, if need be, supplemented by legitimate aid from national authority.”

    Hayes was a conservative Republican.

  2. Thanks for the info on this speaker, to the people up in Washburn, WI.

Contacting the DPW exec staff only gets you auto-enrolled into their database, absolutely nothing else except for a chance to opt out of BS newsletter from the chair. No answers to specific questions.

You won’t hear anything like this speaker coming to Washburn, dismantling corporate rule, coming from Dems. Moving on with affiliation is what appears needed and demanded, Zach.

  3. Steve and Shelly, I applaud your extra effort at the local level. It can be a positive force.

I look forward to more details and developments; keep us advised.
