Over the weekend, I attended our “sold out” and very successful, with one exception, County Democrats Fall Rally. Speakers included our state rep and senator, candidate Feingold, and our leader, Martha Laning.
Unfortunately, Ms. Laning, came, ate, spoke, and ran taking no questions including mine related to the subject of this discussion, i.e. unfair and illegal, IMO, redistricting.
We have to have this legal effort supported,, sounded, and sustained with the public’s knowledge and support until it reaches the Supreme Court if necessary. This along with voter suppression efforts by the Walker gang need to be fought
and denied.
C’mon Martha, raising money is not the primary solution as your predecessor knows well. You need to reach out and inform the masses of the injustice, the unfairness, the immorality of the 1% and their paid operatives, Walker, Fitzgerald, and Voss.
For extra credit, I suggest Ms. Laning read “The Joy of the Gospel” by Pope Francis on the current injustices and greed in our economic system.
