Riffing off a comment by a former NY Times editor, Donald Trump tweeted this:
Of course “Fake News” and “Enemy of the People” is just the president bloviating and creating his own false narrative to energize his base BUT:
the Free Press absolutely becomes AN “Opposition Party” no matter who is in the Oval Office. It is purely the presses responsibility to cover what the president and his regime says and does…and then call out the lies and discrepancies as they see them. He’s been around long enough to understand that they aren’t his own personal cheer leading squad!
