Most of the talk in the media around the White House files removed from Mar-a-Lago by the FBI center on the content of those files. And that’s to be expected because the content indeed puts the security of the nation at risk. But the FBI, Department of Justice, and the courts will all weigh in on that and any charges brought against the former president and his minions will be based on their findings.
But let’s not get distracted by the contents. The bottom line here is the former president stole files from the White House that don’t belong to him. Whether national security secrets or the menus from White House state dinners…the documents don’t belong to him. He is a common thief…and belongs in prison…the contents will only influence how long.
