[satire] In The Wake of AZ Re-instituting Abortion Law From 1864, Prior To Statehood, Others Are Looking At Vampire Laws, etc.

[satire] follows: A 160 year old zombie abortion law enacted prior to statehood, was allowed to become law in Arizona by their supreme court. This hasn’t gone unnoticed by a number of interested parties from that part of North America.

The Catholic Church would like to reclaim title to The Alamo in San Antonio Texas. Although unused and seemingly abandoned in the early 19th C, the Church had never surrendered the property as it changed hands between the foreign insurrectionists of the time, notably James Bowie and David Crockett, and the Mexican Army. Despite the Mexican Army’s retaking of the mission, it was never turned over to church authorities and eventually was lost during the movement for Texas independence. In 2024, the Church sees a future using state education vouchers to establish an E.S.L. Immersion school and would like to have it ready for the 2005 academic year.

After the Trump administration revealed that the British had seized American airports throughout the northeast corridor during the war of 1812, scholars in Toledo Spain were intrigued by the possibilities when one of the last surviving Mayan codices in their library in a Toledo university, indicates that the Mayans took control of the airports in Houston and Dallas/Fort Worth from the Olmecs around 1531. The Mayans intend to go to federal court to take back these facilities and hope to have them in hand for the busy Thanksgiving travel season. They have any number of ideas for infrastructure renewal. The Dallas Cowboys are eager for the deal to go through as the Mayans have promised to purchase naming rights to their stadium. I for one am looking forward to hearing Fox NFL Analysts struggle trying to pronounce Quetzalcoatl Field!

And again, in an effort to get control of the federal deficit, the Trump administration apparently didn’t make mortgage payments on the Gadsden Purchase in 2018, 2019, or 2020. At this point the Mexican Government is preparing to file a repossession notice in their Supreme Court to recover their property. The area looks ripe for the resettlement of migrants who will think they have arrived in the United States.

And Texas Governor Greg Abbott has been warned they he may be at risk of being replaced as governor. Apparently there is still a zombie law in place in Austin that states that only the King of Spain has the lawful authority to appoint the governor of Texas. Gov. Abbott has reportedly upgraded his membership on Ancestry.com so that he may make sure that Felipe VI is the right king to be kissing up to. And he is trying to determine if Felipe speaks English or if he can find a Spanish speaker anywhere in Texas to act as a liaison or translator.

so enough [satire] for this evening. unfortunately the bit about the 1864 abortion law is all too true and a sickening miscarriage of the law.
