Keep your eyes on “the prize”

Zach mentioned this in his Friday morning links, and also pointed out that Boots and Sabers also has the story, and as Zach points out there was nary a mention anywhere that Ken Kratz was a Republican, who had toyed with the idea of running for congress.

Now a little internet research and we find out that he was not only a Republican but well loved in the right wing blogosphere!! It’s hard to mistake this kind of endorsement from our friend Patrick at Badger Blogger:

I think Ken Kratz is the clear Conservative choice!

PS: Unfortunately someone actually goes to BS for their news, as referenced by this quote. I think BS owes this person an apology for only telling part of the story.

  1. Aaaaah ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!!

Make sure you have a screen shot; you know how stuff tends to “disappear” over there.

    1. That’s absolutely hilarious. Fits right in with my general impression that PP is not very good at reading and actually comprehending comments other people make. Granted, the level of sophistication that the spammers have developed in their bots has made it much harder for the anti-spam code to catch – but most human beings can process the language and easily realize discern between a legitimate comment and a ‘bot.

Hey, wait a minute…Maybe PP is actually a computer. He might just pass the Touring Test. 🙂

  2. Well I was going to focus on mikes comments and his apparent stalking of the poor girl, but this comment cracked me up.

  3. I wonder how much of that was fantasy of the proto-tea partiers. Yes, he talked about it, but it came to nothing and he was originally appointed by Doyle. I think he’s more prosecutor than anything else and he foolishly, criminally, decided to hit on someone as his marriage was crumbling.

      1. The sad part is that he seemed to have been a good prosecutor up to this point. Apparently the vulnerable young woman combined with his crumbling marriage led him to use the power of his office to try to get something that he had no right to do in those circumstances.

        1. I actually agree with you, he appears to have been very good at what he did. Yet the combination of what he “sexted” and how he handled it when he got caught probably couldnt of been handled worse.

    1. I think they were expecting Petri to retire back then and he was planning in case it happened. It’s not a swing district, but with Steiger and then Petri, there’s been no chance for a Democrat to woo disaffected independents.

    1. It would be entirely unethical to take advantage of conservative-minded interns like that. They are there to learn. Those young men deserve our protection as much as anyone else.

Weeks after Calumet County District Attorney Kenneth Kratz was caught sending sexually charged text messages to a crime victim, he shared confidential details of a murder investigation with another woman and invited her to wear high heels to the victim’s autopsy, according to a letter obtained Monday by the Wisconsin State Journal.

Further allegations against the “CLEAR CONSERVATIVE VOICE”.
