Not solidarity, but a great PR stunt. They can offer up anything in theory, because they know it won’t come to pass, so people will feel sorry for them. It’s a good move in a chess game, but I hope you don’t believe this is a sincere concession.
You’re crazy if you think it won’t come to pass, as UWM’s campus police officers are about to find out come July 1, when they’re replaced by Wackenhut rent-a-cops.
