Rick Perry demonstrating his true colors. Perfect, Jeff.
“Fair” play is not about showing derisive pictures of all the Republican candidates. “Fair” play would be about showing derisive pictures of both Republican and Democrat candidates.
But derisive pictures are better than sexually sophomoric pictures.

Never ceases to amaze me that people who claim to be progressives, liberals, Democrats, etc. are swifter to attack their own than to attack the people who are destroying this country. Shame on you. Jeff Simpson has every right to put up bad pictures of conservatives behaving badly. It’s too bad that people like you have to act like enraged right-wingers and give him shit for it.
I agree that Jeff has the right to post whatever he likes. And I am not trying to stop him by exercising my own right to protest what he writes about. I am, however, trying to show him that his writing has consequences . His writing is sometimes inappropriate and/or inaccurate.
There are reasonable standards that can be applied to voicing opposition. Especially when congresspersons are involved. Those standards do not include sexual innuendo or mischaracterization.
Not one of my friends (or my adversaries) would describe me as an ‘enraged right winger’. I am not enraged and I don’t act like an enraged right winger. I am weary of Democrats’ and Republicans’ name calling. It reminds me of two teenagers living under the same roof determined to prove to their parents that the other one is causing all the problems.
I hope they both grow out of it soon.

This is what people should be enraged about—not pictures of Perry that make him look bad. He looks bad, period. Toss in the facts that he has stated he thinks Texas should secede from the United States; that his religious affiliations are frighteningly facist ( http://www.texasobserver.org/cover-story/rick-perrys-army-of-god ); and that he represents a party that wants to destroy the Constitution, and you’ve got something real to be angry about. Instead, people want to jump on Jeff for re-posting pictures. Please. Get a grip.
Agree. It would have been a better post to actually document Rick Perry’s statements that show that a few years ago he wanted to secede from the Union and now he wants to be President. That is what should be talked about. How can he honestly work for the best interests of Americans if he wants to leave America?
So, why didn’t you put up some information about Perry instead of whining about Jeff posting pictures? You like that kind of post so much, then do it yourself. Quit complaining about Jeff posting pictures of Perry behaving like an ass.
