Subject: Invite your client to meet Gov. Walker & his cabinet
CARW Members

Governor Scott Walker and key members of his Cabinet will hold a Forward Manufacturing roundtable meeting, a concept inspired by a CARW initiative with the administration. The event will feature a brief presentation on the benefits of expanding, moving or growing in Wisconsin and how the State is prepared to assist businesses.

This is your opportunity to invite your client(s) to hear from and speak with Governor Walker and his Cabinet.

This is not an open invitation event, attendees must be bona fide prospect prequalified; we apologize but only brokers with invited clients will be permitted to attend.

The event will take place on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at 10:00 AM in Pleasant Prairie.

Do you have a client or prospect that is considering growing, relocating to, or expanding in Wisconsin? This is a great opportunity to showcase your value proposition and put those clients in front of the top State of Wisconsin decision makers.

For consideration, please submit to me BY EMAIL ONLY the name of the business you represent and the individual(s) you would like invited. A brief description of the client’s interest in growing in Wisconsin is also required. ALL INFORMATION WILL BE HELD IN CONFIDENCE BY CARW – only contact information will be shared with the State of Wisconsin. If you qualify, you and your client will receive a written invitation from Governor Walker.

Don’t delay, space is limited and is already filling up through the work of the Governor’s Office and WEDC’s work with regional and local economic development corporations. Please let me know as soon as possible if you have a lead for consideration but NO than Wednesday, June 5, 2013.

Best regards,
Jim

To be honest, I’m just surprised Jim Villa could get Gov. Walker back to Wisconsin long enough to hold any kind of event.

  2. Why certainly. Exclusivity is all Walker has to offer. If you get in the club you might have an opportunity to lick the boots of the one percent.

  3. 99% of high-tech manufactures want rock-solid evidence of a committment to increasingly green energy. Mostly that’s green electricity, but green thermal energy is also important. They also want marriage equality and “choice,” because their young, high value workers do. They place a high value on reliable infrastructure, lots of bandwidth, first-class education, clean air, clean water, and integrated, multi-modal mass transit. It’s long past time when Mike Grebe (Bradley Foundation), Gov. Walker, and the rest of the Wall Street Republicans figure out what “Forward Manufacturing,” means in 2013.
