I don’t know…what was it? A month since Chicago dropped their quarantine requirements for Wisconsin visitors? Well, good news, we are back on their no go list again…
The city of Chicago added the state of Wisconsin back to its 14-day quarantine list, which will go into effect Friday at 12:01 a.m.
States that have at least 15 daily Covid-19 infections per 100,000 residents are placed on the list. The Emergency Travel Order requires travelers entering or returning to Chicago from states that experience a surge in Covid-19 cases to quarantine for a 14-day period.
“Wisconsin is seeing a daily case average of over 15 cases/100k/day. To allow residents enough time to plan travel to this border state, it has been added to a warning list. If Wisconsin is unable to bring down the daily case average in the next week, they will be added to the quarantine list. Chicago residents are strongly advised to not travel to Wisconsin,” Chicago’s update read.
So way to go Wisconsin, we are now a pariah state, again, in Chicago. And you’ve kicked another contingent of tourists to the curb.
