Eleven Months Into The Pandemic, Andrea Palm, is still only the secretary-designee of the Wisconsin Department of Health Services.

And it’s not like she isn’t qualified or hasn’t been on the job that long…because she was after all, nominated by Governor Tony Evers in January 2019.

But the do nothing Republican legislature (which hasn’t met since April of 2020), simply out of spite against the governor, hasn’t confirmed her appointment to her role at the Wisconsin Department of Health Services.

Yet she’s managed the state’s response to the pandemic and managed it as well as can be expected given the legislature’s concerted efforts to again, prevent Governor Evers from taking any action at all…despite 4,000 dead residents and overworked hospitals across the state.

At what point do we as state residents say enough is enough?
