State Senator Jeff Plale (D-South Milwaukee) today applauded Governor-elect Scott Walker’s call for a fundamental restructuring of the Wisconsin Department of Commerce. Media reports have stated that Walker plans to create a new public-private entity that will primarily focus on job creation and economic development efforts.
Let’s take bets now….does Jeff Plale end up as a lobbyist for the power and energy industry or as a member of Scott Walker’s administration once his term in the State Senate is over in January?
This is a good idea. It has worked very well in other states. Even a broken clock is right twice a day.
Wasn’t this done before by Tommy Thompson with Forward Wisconsin, and it worked for a few years before the businesses flounced out in doing their part?
